WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Have you ever got things wrong & say you’ll learn from it & do better next time, but then you don’t?!

We will look at some good and bad financial habits and then learn some practical skills. We’ll start by hearing about experiences from within our group and then go on to hear good & bad financial habits common in small businesses.

We’ll look at a few key things to address the difficulties many new and growing businesses have with understanding and managing finances.

Learn how to:

  • Budget
  • Forecast
  • What to watch out for!

Lastly we’ll be looking at some of the legal financial changes are that are coming soon

  • Making tax digital
  • National Min Wage
  • NIC (National Insurance) increases

Designed in simple language and using appropriate examples

WHO IS IT FOR?

Start-up, small or growing business that are wanting to get to grips with the financial side of things.

WHO IS EMMA TORRANCE?

Emma Torrance is a Co-Founder of THiNK and a Business Mentor. She has over 20 years experience of providing support to start-up and small businesses, social enterprises, and third sector organisations.

Emma specialises in:

  • understanding money, cashflow and business planning
  • new start and new in business for freelancers and small businesses as a mentor or business advisor
  • problem solving
  • social enterprises across a range of business and financial management areas
  • creative businesses
