ABOUT THIS EVENT
Getting the price right for any business is essential. All delegates would be asked to bring details of their services and what they currently think they are worth, sharing with the group what they currently charge or what they feel they should charge for their services. The following areas will be looked at in detail with open discussions with the delegates.
WHO IS IT FOR?
These workshops are designed for small businesses selling services as opposed to products, who are looking for guidance on how to value their offer and price it accordingly.
You are only eligible to attend this event if you are based in Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire and run a creative or digital business, or have an idea for one you would like to start. Ben is a serial entrepreneur who works within the creative and cultural industries helping brands owners grow their business and serve their customers better.
He ran his own retail space, Made in Nottingham, for over 6 years in the Broadmarsh shopping centre. Made in Nottingham is a multi-award winning retail concept store with national awards from, The Small Awards – High Street Hero, SCEPTRE – Short Term Retailer of the Year, intu – Best Window Display, Small Business Saturday – SBS100 Top 100 Small Businesses.
Ben works with the Nottingham Tourism Centre and Nottingham Castle overseeing products/gifts selection, visual merchandising, including creating unique window displays. Alongside this he is a home/garden/lifestyle product/gift designer himself producing a range of products that sell both online and on the high street.
WHEN AND WHERE IS IT?
Wednesday 3 November, 9.30am - 12.30pm, online via Zoom.
This event will take place online via Zoom. You will receive an email from the Big House team with confirmation of the Zoom meeting details before the event, and a reminder via Eventbrite one hour before.
Please note that this is an interactive workshop - you will be expected to have your camera and microphone turned on and be able to contribute to the session throughout.
