Explore the key ingredients needed to make the leap from a few projects a year, to an organisation that provides year-round employment
In this 90-minute digital session, you’ll explore the key ingredients you need to make the leap from a few projects a year, to an organisation that operates a payroll and provides year-round employment for you and your team. So that you can grow and scale up a programme of creative work. It will be a whistle stop tour of the sort of things you need to consider and the documents and templates that might help you get organised. It will give you the head start you need to avoid those early pitfalls.
You can expect it to be fun and friendly, with plenty of breaks and time off screen too. Put your big person pants on, be brave and let’s talk business.
Spoiler: There is no magic wands, but we can at least give you the ingredients for the potion.
This workshop is for professional theatre practitioners who probably have around 5 years’ experience or more, have their own creative practice, who currently deliver a few projects a year with collaborators, and who are interested in exploring how to formalise this and scale it up.
The workshop is delivered by Ben Anderson from Warts and All. Ben is Executive Director of Warts and All Theatre, which is a project funded organisation that works with children and young people to co-create extraordinary theatre in unexpected places. It operates from Northampton with a core staff team year-round.
This workshop has a limited capacity of 10 people, the tickets will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. So, book early to avoid disappointment!
