ABOUT THIS EVENT

When your customers and clients watch you live, they're more engaged and your brand starts to feel more human. Plus, it's a great way to stay connected and build relationships.
In this workshop, Bertie will show you everything to make setting up your live broadcast simple from any supported social media channel.

In this workshop we will cover:

What to talk about when going Live on social media
Make your lives engaging the second they begin
What are the best social channels to use?
Equipment you'll need
Streaming to multiple platforms at once
Using pre-recorded content so you can “go live” without going live!
How to reuse your live broadcast for more content

WHO IS IT FOR?

These workshops are aimed anyone running or working within a start-up, growing or established business, who uses online platforms already but would like to explore reaching their customers with live content.

You are only eligible to attend this event if you are based in Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire and run a creative or digital business, or have an idea for one you would like to start. If you are not yet enrolled on The Big House, you can complete an expression of interest form by clicking the "Register Your Interest" button at the top of the page. WHO IS BERTIE CORDINGLEY?

Bertie Cordingley is a serial entrepreneur with many businesses under his belt. He has founded companies from the idea stage, and been part of the journey of growing a business right through to multi-million pound exits. Bertie has experienced all types of start-ups, from bootstrapping to raising investment.

He is best known for founding the hugely successful fillmybelly.com in 2006, which acquired by Just Eat in 2012. Bertie then went on to be a director at Just Eat for 3 years, overseeing further acquisitions which were key to their growth and subsequent IPO.

Bertie has a deep-rooted passion for helping other business owners reach their potential and is now working as a business coach. Bertie specialises in working with business owners get the most out of their businesses by sharing experience and working alongside them.

WHEN AND WHERE IS IT?

Thursday 4 November, 9.30am - 12.30pm, at Nonsuch Studios, Nottingham

We will be asking all delegates to present proof of a negative lateral flow test (taken within the last 24 hours) before entering the event. Please show your NHS confirmation text or email to a member of staff on the door. You can order free lateral flow tests here. We will also be encouraging all delegates to wear a mask when not seated.
