About this Event

A Big House Event supported by Real Creative Futures Digital

This four-part online workshop is designed to equip quiet, shy and less confident people to find a voice, speak up and promoting their creative businesses. Shouting Quietly is suitable for people with little or no experience, as well as those who are already confident and wish to finesse their skills.

Participants will participate in four live online workshops to help put ideas into practice.

The online workshop dates will be:

04 November - Building Confidence 2 - 4

18 November - Storytelling and Values 2 - 4

2 December - How to write about yourself 2 - 4

16 December - How to Pitch and Present 2 - 4

Each workshop will be via Zoom - links for each session will be emailed to participants once booked onto the programme.

You will:

• Build your confidence in self-promotion, and in preparing and delivering pitches, talks and presentations

• Develop your own personal style and approach so you can work out where and how you can present your ideas most effectively – be that 1-1, small groups, workshops, pitches or public talks.

• Learn a wide range of skills and techniques so that you have a wide range of options to call on when preparing to promote, pitch or present.

• Get to practice new skills via try-out sessions in a safe environment
