Meander Theatre have been creating work alongside learning disabled artists for over 9 years. This workshop will focus on the experience of an R& D process for a new piece created with a cast and crew of 5 learning disabled creatives. If you require BSL for this workshop, please email s.hack@derby.ac.uk at the time of booking.
We will be talking to the cast and crew about their experiences, what made the rehearsal space work and what did not. Laura Guthrie will unpick what Meander needed to consider ensuring the process was accessible for all before and during the rehearsals and the final performances.
