A hands-on workshop with Meeta Thareja that will help you turn your business growth ambitions into a sales strategy. This workshop will introduce you to a practical framework and tools for improving your sales effectiveness. You’ll learn how to organise your sales activities strategically and prioritise your goals, so you are not relying on serendipity, but can grow your business intentionally. This workshop will span two consecutive mornings.

Event information / agenda

The workshop will be based on practical exercises, where you will work on your own business and sales challenges. An entrepreneur herself, Meeta will share the tools, templates and disciplines that she has applied to her own business. You will have the opportunity to engage with other participants and share your insights and a-ha's!

Before you book

Make sure that you are representing a creative or digital SME in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, and that you are eligible for The Big House programme. We will confirm details of what you will need to access the virtual session. This event is ideally suited to established SMEs in creative or digital sector, trading for some time and with employees.

About Meeta Thareja

Meeta is an entrepreneur with 20 years of international experience in Business Strategy Consulting, Technology, Outsourcing & Hospitality. She co-founded strategy consulting firm MetaValue in 2012 with the vision to be an antidote to austerity by helping more businesses grow and thrive. Since founding, MetaValue has delivered projects across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. The company became a leading supplier to the UK Cabinet Office on two flagship programmes that aimed to support the redesign of public services by setting-up independent, self-sustaining public service organisations. MetaValue’s work has been recognised and presented at the Cabinet Office as best practice in the sector.

A well-established business mentor for start-ups and SMEs in the UK, she has worked with Universities, Business Accelerators, Local and Central Governments and the European Regional Development Fund to support over 300 start-ups, SMEs and innovation projects to bring bold ideas to life and amplify their impact. Meeta is a certified facilitator of Human-Centred Design methodology and has developed toolsets and guides for SMEs and start-ups that have been used widely by organisations she has worked with.

Meeta was one of six women in the UK named Asian Women of Achievement (Entrepreneur) in 2014. She is part of Women of the Future Network - a national forum for high potential women in business.
