Event information / agenda

A Big House Event supported by Creative Quarter.

A space for our younger creatives to to connect, network, hatch plans, collaborate, skill share, be curious, ask questions and discuss all things creative, digital, entrepreneurship, business, and beyond. If you are aged 16-25, this event is especially designed for you, although all ages are welcome.

This month's event is focused on Animation and Digital Media, and will include two talks from current creatives working in the sector.

NTU graduate Em Green won the Young Creative Award for Animation & Digital Media (19-24 age group) in 2020 for her short animation This Fabric World, which challenges the viewer to consider how disposable fashion has become, and the damaging, irreversible impact it has on the planet. Since then Em has gained experience in animation and motion design, working as a Production Assistant for animation studio Finger Industries; freelancing with Trent PTS, to lead and direct students to create animated content; and exhibiting at shows including New Designers.

Currently Junior Motion Designer / Animator at CNS Media, Em designs, storyboards and animates digital and broadcast advertisements for a range of clients. Em will talk about her creative journey to date.
