WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Why sell online? Are you ready to sell online? Which products or services sell best online? What are the most common opportunities to show and sell your creative work online? The most important steps to get your business online quickly, incl. deciding on your software, creating your website layout and the pages you need, getting the right images and how to plan your launch.
WHO IS PATRICIA VAN DEN AKKER?
Patricia van den Akker is the Director of The Design Trust, an online business school for designers and makers, who has worked for over 20 years as a creative business advisor, trainer and coach with 1 000s of creatives. The website gets over 40k visits/month.
Patricia is known for her practical but strategic approach to business development raining. She regularly runs professional development workshops for the Royal College of Ars, University of the Arts London/ Central St Martins, University College London, Space Studios London/ Cockpit Arts, Yorkshire Art Space, Plymouth School of Arts, and various trade fair and craft show organisations.
HOW DO I BOOK TICKETS?
This event is free, but space is limited. You must be enrolled with The Big House and/or RCF-D. Space is limited, so make sure to book your ticket today to guarantee your place.
PLEASE NOTE: The Big House events are free to you, because they are funded – however there is a cost attached to them for us and we are a not-for-profit organisation. So, if you have registered to come, your place will have been paid for. Our events are very popular and we often have a waiting list. With this in mind, if for any reason you are unable to attend it is very important that you cancel your ticket on Eventbrite as soon as possible, to enable someone else to take your place.
