WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Producing a written, traditional business plan can be a struggle, yet we all need to plan to achieve our goals. This workshop series is for all creative, right-brained thinkers and even those who hate to plan! Each workshop uses practical, visual tools to take you through the planning process, in bite-sized chunks. You’ll share ideas with fellow creatives and follow your own creative process to craft that works for you.
Workshop Two: Designing Your Business Model? – Business modelling using the ModFin system.
WHO IS ELLEN O’HARA AND GIL THEWLIS?
Ellen O’Hara is a creative business coach and has been working with artists, designers, makers and other creatives to start and grow successful businesses for the last 17 years. Ellen previously held roles at award-winning craft incubator Cockpit Arts, the Prince's Trust and Arts Council England and began her career in management consultancy at Arthur Andersen.
As well as providing one to one support, Ellen has designed programmes for Nesta, Arts Council England, Innovate UK, British Council, Clore Leadership Programme, Crafts Council, National Arts Council Singapore and Business and Arts South Africa.
Gil Thewlis has been an independent business and executive coach and consultant since 2000. 60% of her work is in the creative and cultural sector working individuals and organisations and with Crafts Council, Creative United, Nesta, British Council, and coaching within The Clore Leadership Programme. She has also worked with Business Links, Growth Accelerator and various other business support schemes.
HOW DO I BOOK TICKETS?
This event is free, but space is limited. You must be enrolled with The Big House and/or RCF-D. Space is limited, so make sure to book your ticket today to guarantee your place.
PLEASE NOTE: The Big House events are free to you, because they are funded – however there is a cost attached to them for us and we are a not-for-profit organisation.
