Our ‘Open Doors’ workshops launched in June to introduce more people to the free, tailored advice and support available through The Big House programme.

Anyone with a creative or digital business idea, has recently started up a creative or digital business, or has been trading as one for a while, is welcome to come along to one of the introductory sessions being held weekly from June onwards.


Weekly 'Open Doors' sessions will run from June to welcome individuals and businesses to The Big House

The 'Open Doors' workshops will offer and introduction to all the FREE tailored advice and support available through The Big House programme. They will also provide an initial assessment of your business and direct your next steps to set your business on its way.

"We want to introduce as many individual and creative and digital businesses to the free support available to them through The Big House, so we’re running a series of introductory weekly sessions starting from June. The two-hour workshops are aimed at individuals and businesses that have not worked with us so far, to give an overview of the types of tailored support that is available from our partners."

"Not only do they provide the chance for a session with a business advisor to assess a business idea or plan, they offer creative and digital businesses the chance to network in small, informal groups to build a support network for the future."

The weekly workshops will offer the opportunity to discuss your business ideas and plans with an expert advisor and map out a programme of free business support, covering:

  • An introduction to The Big House programme
  • The help, support and opportunities available to you
  • An outline of who is in The Big House and the wider support network
  • An assessment of where you are now and what you would like to achieve
  • Tailored recommendations for workshops and events to help your specific business
  • Testimonials from people who have already benefitted from the programme
  • The chance to meet other new creative and digital businesses
  • Planning your next steps

These workshops are FREE but you need to be enrolled with The Big House programme to attend. If you haven't already enrolled you can do so at the workshop.
