16 October 2018

The organisers of the Off Centre Photo Festival are delighted to announce the launch of Nottingham’s first Independent Photo Festival. It will be taking place from 27th October to 11th November 2018 across a number of different venues in Nottingham city centre.

There is a specific launch event on Saturday 27th October at New Art Exchange, from 2-4pm.

The aim of the festival is to promote and encourage photography. Nottingham(shire) has a rich photographic heritage, an abundance of talented local photographers and this festival will showcase the work of local photographers. Off Centre will be exhibiting work from a diverse range of our local photography community.

"After a very successful call out, with over 350 submissions made, we are excited to announce a full range of talks and workshops. As well as over 100 photographers exhibited across over 10 venues around the city."

All of Off Centre's talks and workshops are free to attend, but require booking due to limited spaces. They have a specific day on Saturday 3rd November which sees a full schedule of talks split between their sponsors at New Art Exchange, and Creative Quarter based out of Sneinton Market Avenues.

They have paper map guides all over the city, but you are guaranteed being able to pick one up from Ideas on Paper, Blend at Sneinton Market Avenues, The Photo Parlour and New Art Exchange.
