Unlocking Growth Potential offers a complementary blend of training and coaching. It is designed for ambitious owners of small and medium-sized businesses in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

The programme consists of eight workshop dates:
The workshops explore topics that are critical for business growth. These include leadership, developing teams, and financial planning. In addition, you will receive 4-5 hours of individual coaching. At the last session, you will present your growth plan. This will include actions you will take as a result of completing the programme.
There are two levels of the programme, to suit the varying needs of delegates. The following documents contain detailed programme content:
Our delivery partners at The Centre for Management and Business Development have a skilled and experienced team of trainers and coaches. They ensure the latest thinking around business growth is made both accessible and relevant to the SMEs on the programme.
Three cohorts of delegates will participate in Unlocking Growth Potential. Two cohorts will complete the Leadership & Management Programme; one will complete the Strategic Leadership & Management Programme.
The first cohort was completed in autumn 2017. The second cohort took place between January and May 2018.

Applications for Unlocking Growth Potential are considered on a rolling basis. Spaces are strictly limited. In addition, only one delegate may enrol from each selected business. There is no fee for delegate businesses. However, this is a substantial programme. It needs a commitment to attend all sessions, and significant effort to maximise the benefits to your business.

Shortlisted businesses will have a short telephone interview with The Centre for Management and Business Development as part of the application process.
