First half of the day looking at branding, USP, customers, creating content, email and websites

Second half of the day looking at how to build an audience and make yourself visible on social media and an indepth look behind the scenes of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and Pinterest.

A fast-paced, jam-packed, whistle-stop tour of digital marketing:

  • Creating your brand, USP and mapping out your ideal customer
  • The importance of creating content
  • Creating a blog and email marketing strategy
  • Telling your story and engaging customers on social media
  • Effective use of Social media - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Pinterest
  • Advertising on Social media
  • How to monitor your efforts and the best tools to do this - analytics and google analytics.


Entrepreneurs, start-ups & SMEs who need to be inspired, get advice on real action you can take and most importantly receive the essential guide on all the ways to grow your business online.


Debbie Clarke aka debbiedooodah started her business in 2013 as a single mum after winning a fight with cancer. She works with creative entrepreneurs to supporting them to create financial freedom.

She’s founded the Indie Freedom Seekers Academy, the Blue Stockings Society, the Women Who Create Podcast and co-authored ‘My Business My Way’ with Nottingham University.

Debbie was voted one of the top 30 inspirational marketers in 2020. In 2019 she was named a top 100 f:entrepreneur, a top 50 twitter influencer for gender diversity, her podcast was named one of the top 5 UK podcasts for Women in Business and ‘My business My Way’ won Ingenuity19. She’s been featured in Forbes and The Guardian amongst other publications.


Registration from 9.15am with the course starting at 9.30am. We aim to finish at 4.30pm. A light lunch and refreshments will be provided.
