Richard Birkin
Richard Birkin is a composer for TV, film and new media. As well as scoring commercial and independent short films, he's made Production Music for Universal PPM, and recorded commissioned works at Abbey Road Studio 2 with the London Contemporary Orchestra.
He's also a recording artist whose modern classical/minimalist output has been used by Emporio Armani and Paulo Sorrentino's big budget Jude Law series The Young Pope.
Write:Record:Release is a step by step guide for the musician explaining the processes of songwriting, composition, vocals & performance, recording & production, mastering, releasing and publishing, and the music business. Industry professionals will demystify each stage, adding valuable tips from their own wealth of knowledge giving each musician the necessary tools to improve their craft and further their career. These will take the form of a dedicated one hour workshop followed by an hour panel discussion and Q&A session with the group.
